Computer gamers solve problem in AIDS research that puzzled scientists for years


This article reports that a tonne of computer gamers managed to solve a DNA problem in AIDS research that had stumped many a scientist for years. While that statement is not entirely accurate, it's still a pretty amazing feat. There is a lot of untapped creativity in this world and I foresee that finding ways to tap into this sort of latent creativity could potentially become a whole new industry of its own.
